What this page is for

This page gathers live broadcasts of church services from the official YouTube channels of monasteries and parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The Divine Liturgy, Vespers, or an all-night vigil can be watched from home, from a hospital bed, or from another city — wherever attending a service in person isn't possible. Each broadcast comes from the monastery's own public channel: the service simply gathers them in one place, so there's no need to search for each channel separately.

How it works

The service checks the official YouTube channels of UOC monasteries and parishes every day. As soon as one of them starts a live broadcast, it appears in the list above automatically — no manual work involved. The «Online» tab shows what is running at this moment, «Scheduled» shows the next broadcasts, and «Not on air» shows recordings of services already finished.

The list itself loads nothing from YouTube: every thumbnail is stored on our own server. The broadcast opens on the channel's page, in a YouTube player set to its no-tracking-cookie mode, and it never starts without you.

Each channel in this list has its own page on our site — just click it. There you will find a short account of the monastery or parish behind the broadcasts, with links to its sources, a mark showing whether it is on air at this moment, a player while a broadcast is running, and a link to the channel itself. Where the monastery is in our directory, the channel page leads straight to its entry there — with its history, its eparchy, its contacts and its place on the map.

Who this is for

Above all, for elderly, ill, and homebound parishioners, for whom the journey to church is out of reach. For soldiers who cannot leave their unit. For Ukrainians abroad, cut off from their home parish by war or emigration. And for anyone who wants to hear a service from their own monastery, or simply have it playing in the background while doing things at home.

Service schedule

In most UOC monasteries, the daily cycle of services follows a similar pattern, though the exact time differs from monastery to monastery.

Midnight Office and the Divine Liturgy — usually early in the morning, around 6:00-9:00. On weekdays there is one Liturgy; on Sundays and feast days there are often two.

Vespers — in the evening, around 16:30-18:00, often combined with the next day's Matins.

All-night vigil — held on the eve of Sundays and major feast days, in the evening, around 17:00 to 21:00; longer than a regular Vespers service.

Can I watch the services for free?

Yes. Watching broadcasts on this page is completely free, no registration required.

Do I need to register?

No. Just open the page — broadcasts and archived recordings are available right away.

Why is nothing live right now?

Services are broadcast on each monastery's own schedule, not around the clock. If nothing is live, the «Scheduled» tab shows the next broadcasts, and the «Not on air» tab shows recordings of past services.

What is on a channel's page?

A short account of the monastery or parish with links to its sources, a mark showing whether it is on air at this moment, a player while a broadcast is running, a link to the channel itself, and — where the monastery is in our directory — a link to its entry there.

How do I add our monastery's channel?

Write to us at «Contact us» with the monastery's name, its eparchy, and a link to its official YouTube channel. We'll add the channel once it's been checked.

Can I watch from my phone?

Yes, the page is mobile-friendly: the list, the player and the schedule work equally well on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
