History:
St. Seraphim's Convent arose in 2010 in the settlement of Komysh-Zorya, Kuybyshev district, Zaporizhzhya region1.
Its opening was blessed by the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at its session of 28 May 2010, by journal no. 30, having heard the report of His Grace Bishop Yelysei of Berdyansk and Prymorsk1. That same year and that same act are also confirmed by the monastery's own website2.
