The male skete in honour of the holy martyr Alexander of Rome stands in the village of Mala Tarasivka, Baryshivka raion, Kyiv oblast, and is a canonical division (skete) of St Cyril's Monastery in Kyiv1, 2.
Its opening was blessed by the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at its session of 25 August 2012, by journal No. 811.
