History:
St. Nicholas's skete in the village of Blahodatne, Skadovsk district, Kherson oblast, came into being on 25 September 2013: the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, acting on a report by Archbishop Ioann of Kherson and Tavriya, blessed its opening on the site of the already-existing St. Nicholas parish there1.
The new skete was placed under the Annunciation Convent of the Kherson eparchy; the decision was recorded in journal no. 69 of the Synod's session that same day1.
